Charlene Hung is known as an Internal corporate entrepreneur in Greater China region in the Internet industry. She initiated and built Yahoo Taiwan’s ecommerce business, introduced Amazon’s merchant business and FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) in China, developed a few new digital business for FarEasTone Telecom, and transformed cnYES to position well in introducing the social trading platform. She has broad experiences in diverse fields including digital contents, digital advertising, ecommerce (marketplace and shopping) and fintech.
Charlene started her Internet career since 2000 in Kimo.com (later acquired by Yahoo). She had played a few important roles including head of Marketing, head of Product and head of eCommerce. She was Managing Director of Yahoo! Taiwan in 2007-2010. Under her leadership, Yahoo! Taiwan was the leading player in the spaces of Digital Media and eCommerce and was the number one revenue contributor to Yahoo!, among all international markets.
