Yu-Jiu Wang
Yu-Jiu Wang is the Principle Investigator for Taiwanese Active Electronically Scanned Array Radars. He and his team designed several light-weighted military-grade high-performance millimeter-wave radars. His team also successfully made key breakthroughs in long-distance wireless power transfer technologies, which will be used in charging implantable devices and miniaturized RFID tags.
Dr. Wang and his team have extensive experiences in wireless IC, its software/hardware systems and production. Their experiences cover IC/PCB/package/enclosure design and electronic, electro-magnetic, thermal and mechanical engineering verifications. They write software and in-house CAD tools to achieve what is previously difficult. His laboratory is capable of testing and debugging major digital/analog/RF/antenna parts from DC to 500GHz.
Yu-Jiu received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology in 2009. He got B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. He was two-times silver medal winner in International Physics Olympiads for Taiwan. He serves as reviewers in several IEEE conferences and journals.
