Carson Chen is the CEO of iXensor, a company he founded with his STB partners, Alan and Jerry, in Silicon Valley, U.S.A. In addition to iXensor, he also co-founded many other start-ups, such as HaisonTech, Aprevent, ApexLearn, and TransPacific Venture Partners, a venture capital company focusing on medical devices.
His main fields of interest include medical devices, the Internet and digital learning. He has been keeping himself most updated in the medical industry and has built good partnerships with many medical device entrepreneurship communities, either at home and abroad.
Carson obtained his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University. And after graduation, he has been engaged in several visiting research programs in MIT, CalTech and Stanford respectively. Back in his school days, he enjoyed taking part in entrepreship competitions.
His team, under his leadership, was awarded with silver medal in WEWIN and TiC100 (by Advantech) and plenty of awards in the design contests by Texas Instruments and Microchip. Furthermore, he is now invited as a speaker or a judge by many entrepreneurship programs or contests. He hopes to inspire more of our next generation by sharing his own experience.
